Celebrate spooky season with the city's favourite annual covers show — as well as some big-name acts who will be swinging through town this fall, ranging from anniversary tours to celebrations of brand-new albums. Here are seven must-see concerts coming to Toronto in October 2024.

Multi-dimensional music fest Project Nowhere will take over Toronto's West End. A showcase of all things underground, performers include Lightning Bolt, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Badge Époque Ensemble, Yoo Doo Right, Eliza Niemi, Zoon and many more.

The newly released My Method Actor is one of the best albums of the year so far, full of spellbinding arrangements of interlocking arpeggios, jazzy grooves and the occasional distorted crescendo. It will be fascinating to see how such beautifully orchestrated arrangements play out on stage.

Clairo
October 23–24, Massey Hall

Prepare to be charmed! As low-key songwriter Clairo brings her intimate new album Charm on tour, she'll swing through Massey Hall for the only two Canadian shows she currently has scheduled — the perfect venue for her sweet, cozy songs.

Vince Staples

Long Beach's own Vince Staples has proven to be one of the most unpredictable, multifaceted forces in modern hip-hop — whether it's crossing over into club music on 2017's Big Fish Theory, offering vulnerable self-portraits on more recent albums, or leading his own surreal comedy show on Netflix.

Protest the Hero

Technically, it's been 11 years since Protest the Hero released their 2013 album Volition — but thankfully for fans of the progressive metalcore combo, they're slightly belatedly honouring the album with a 10th-anniversary tour.

Death to T.O.
October 26, Lee's Palace

Halloween covers show Death to T.O. has become a true highlight of spooky season with its fast-paced selection of covers sets from local bands. This year, Breeze, Rapport, Shiv and the Carvers, and Paste are among the artists bands cosplaying as Björk, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac, Madonna and more.
