After sharing plans for an upcoming record last month, Andy Shauf has released a brand new single — the latest instalment of The Neon Skyline — titled "Try Again," which arrives alongside accompanying visuals.
The stop-motion video for Shauf's new single was directed by Gérald Fleury and Timo Hateau of Mizotte & Cabécou, who opted for bursts of colour instead of creating a visual narrative.
"Rather than illustrating the storyline, we imagined our own offbeat tale like a parallel to the song," they said in a statement. "Design, motion, colours and atmosphere are influenced by the pop and childish dream world of '70s French animation (Chapi Chapo, The Magic Roundabout)."

The Neon Skyline is due January 24 via Arts & Crafts/ANTI-.
As previously reported, Shauf will be heading on an extensive world tour next year, hitting many Canadian cities along the way. You can revisit that schedule here.
