Regina songsmith Andy Shauf has shared plans for a new record due early next year. Titled The Neon Skyline, Shauf's six full-length record is set to arrive January 24 via Arts & Crafts/ANTI-. What's more, he's announced a massive world tour, complete with Canadian dates.

To get us going, Shauf has shared the record's first song "Things I Do," which is said to examine "the dissolution of the narrator's past relationship over tense and jazz-minded instrumentation."

You can listen to "Things I Do" down below.

According to a press release, "The interconnected songs on The Neon Skyline, all written, performed, arranged and produced by Shauf, follow a simple plot: the narrator goes to his neighborhood dive, finds out his ex is back in town, and she eventually shows up."

As for the tour, it kicks off in February and will hit up various stops in Canada, the U.S. and overseas. You can see the sprawling schedule below, and tickets go on sale Friday (October 25).

The Neon Skyline marks Shauf's first record since 2016's The Party; meanwhile, his latest work was with Foxwarren's self-titled debut just last year.
