Andy Shauf has announced the cancellation of his July touring commitments due to ongoing struggles with back pain.

The singer-songwriter shared the news on his social media channels today. "Some of you may know that I have been experiencing a lot of back pain over the past few months," Shauf wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. "During this recent UK/European tour it got to the point where I was needing both a back-patch and painkillers to be able to make it through the show. As a result, touring has become a bit of a struggle for me."

He continued, "I'm now at home and seeing doctors to assess a treatment plan, so that I can focus on recovery and getting back to my normal self as soon as possible. As a result, we are going to have to cancel the shows we had scheduled in July. I'm really sorry to anyone that had tickets."

Refunds for Shauf's headline shows behind his new album, Norm, are available at the point of purchase. All of his scheduled dates were in the US, save for an appearance at Festival d'été de Québec on July 13.
