Ahead of taking the stage at the Velvet Underground tonight for two back-to-back hometown shows with Jane Inc, U.S. Girls have announced another handful of North American tour dates for August and September. The new leg of the tour behind Bless This Mess will see Meg Remy and co. venture westward, including a few Canadian dates in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
The newly announced dates will kick off in Buffalo and Amherst on August 2 and 3, respectively. Come September, U.S. Girls will be joined by Dorothea Paas for four US dates ahead of the Canadian West Coast run, which includes shows at Vancouver's Hollywood Theatre on September 16, Calgary's Commonwealth on September 18 and Edmonton's Starlite Room on September 19.
As previously reported, U.S. Girls will also support the National alongside Patti Smith at Toronto's Budweiser Stage on August 20.
