The National have decided to stop neglecting the Northern sect of sad dads and added a couple of Canadian dates to their 2023 touring itinerary, including an appearance at Osheaga and a ridiculously stacked Toronto bill with Patti Smith and U.S. Girls.
Supporting their forthcoming new album First Two Pages of Frankenstein, the band will be in Montreal's Parc Jean Drapeau on August 5 to play the Saturday of Osheaga, which Billie Eilish is set to headline. After dipping back into the US, the National will return to Canada for a massive late-summer show at Toronto's Budweiser Stage on August 20 with their Canadian 4AD labelmates and the legendary Smith in tow.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (March 3) at 10 a.m. local time, following various Ticketmaster presales beginning tomorrow (March 1).
