Tyler, the Creator's 'Wolf' Set for Deluxe Vinyl Release

Though Tyler, the Creator was arrested on Saturday (March 15) for allegedly starting a riot at SXSW, there's a bit of positive news from the Odd Future rapper to start the week off: his 2013 album Wolf is about to get its first-ever vinyl pressing.

As Modern Vinyl points out, Amazon currently has a listing up for the wax edition of the third Tyler, the Creator album, which Columbia Records will release on vinyl April 15. As you can see in the pic above, the package spreads the tracklisting across a pair of pink platters and also includes a CD copy of the set.

As for the artwork, each of the three variant covers figures into the release. The cartoony Tyler on a BMX serves as the front cover, while the Jostens-style school photo and the close-up of the rapper's mouth are used as record sleeves. The LP edition also includes a giant sticker of the dude's face.

Regarding last week's arrest, Tyler was taken into custody at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport after he was said to have "encouraged behaviour causing an immediate danger and injury to persons" at his SXSW show at the Scoot Inn last Thursday (March 13). The rapper led a chant of "push, push, push," which prompted festivalgoers to storm the venue. Tyler has been charged with a class A misdemeanour, with bond set at $25,000 U.S.
