Twin Peaks have announced plans for a new EP titled Side A. The record will be available as of July 3 via Grand Jury.

Written and recorded at the label's Studio D during lockdown, Twin Peaks teamed up with a number of their contemporaries for the new four-song project, including fellow Chicagoans, OHMME and Lala Lala.

In a press release, the band wrote of the EP:

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we realized our recording efforts would be waylaid, so we wanted to finish the songs closest to completion remotely; vocals done one at a time at the studio or sent in from home; contributions from OHMME, V.V. LIGHTBODY, LALA LALA, and TOM REEDER delivered from their own recording setups.

Today, Twin Peaks have shared one of the record's new singles, "What's the Matter," which can be heard below.

Side A follows the release of 2019's Lookout Low.

In addition to the new record, the band have also shared plans to release a "Business Tee," with all proceeds going to support the Chicago chapter of Black Lives Matter. See the newly listed shirt over at the band's webstore
