The xx released their third studio album I See You back at the start of the year, and now Jamie xx from the group has treated one of its track's to a remix.
"On Hold" is Jamie xx's first official remix in over four years, and in addition to hitting digital streaming services today (September 13), it has also been given a 1,000-copy limited-edition 12-inch release alongside Four Tet's remix of "A Violent Noise." The physical singles are slated to arrive on October 20, and can be pre-ordered here.
The reworked track has also been given some updated visuals, courtesy of director Alisdair McLellan (who directed the song's original video, as well). Hear the track and watch the new clip down below.
