The incomparable Peaches has remixed "Did I" from Romy's debut solo album, 2023's Mid Air. The pair debuted the collaboration on stage last week as part of the xx member's headlining New York show, and it's now available for your listening pleasure.
"Peaches is an absolute icon and has inspired me in so many ways over the years," Romy explained in a statement. "Peaches was one of the first gigs I ever went to and I've never forgotten her energy onstage, her lyrics, production and how she continuously pushes boundaries for the better. With this project I wanted to celebrate queer dance music and I couldn't think of an artist who embodies this more than Peaches, I'm honoured that she has not only remixed 'Did I' but added a verse too!"
Peaches added, "We've always had a great admiration for each other and this was the perfect moment to collaborate."
What's more, Romy has announced some additional North American dates for her 2024 tour schedule — including a Canadian Club Mid Air gig at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on August 6.
