We are still — still — waiting like rabid Rihanna stans on that sophomore album from Jamie xx, one-third of currently, supposedly in-studio heartbreakers the xx, and today he's breadcrumbing us once again with a new single.
Titled "Baddy on the Floor," it's the producer's collaboration with DJ/fashion person Honey Dijon. It premiered on Radio 1's Future Artists with Jack Saunders earlier today.
Its cover art is suspiciously reminiscent of 2015's In Colour, and with Jamie xx's first weekend of Coachella in the books ahead of multiple festival appearances on this and the other side of the Atlantic lined up this summer, it's admittedly entirely possible that the wait for LP2 is almost over. Though, don't hold your breath.
For now, you can hear "Baddy on the Floor" featuring Honey Dijon below.
