It seems like we're going to hear the Weeknd and Aaliyah team up sometime soon: the artist born Abel Tesfaye is reportedly featured on a new posthumous song from the Princess of R&B.
Today, music industry trade publication HITS Daily Double added a track called "Poison" to their Urban Adult Contemporary (AC) Mediabase Add Board under the names of the Canadian artist and the late superstar.
A screenshot of the add — which indicates that the song is being sent out to radio stations — was shared on Twitter by @OnThinIce.

If it is more than a mere mirage after all, "Poison" is set to drop via Blackground 2.0; and if it's already being sent out to radio, the wait shouldn't be too long.
This collaboration can be expected to feature on the forthcoming posthumous Aaliyah album (confirmed by her uncle Barry Hankerson), though the Weeknd was not among the previous list of rumoured guest appearances. A release date has yet to be announced.
Back in August, Aaliyah's 1996 album One in a Million arrived on streaming services despite ongoing conflict with her estate. Meanwhile, the Weeknd is also expected to feature on an FKA Twigs collab called "Tears in the Club."
