After posting some cryptic ciphers, Radiohead spinoff the Smile have announced their second album of 2024. Cutouts will be out on October 4 through XL Recordings, and two new songs are streaming today.

The singles "Foreign Spies" and "Zero Sum" are out now, along with videos for each track (which can be seen below). This follows the previously released singles "Don't Get Me Started" and "The Slip" (although the latter song is still only available on vinyl).

The album was recorded in Oxford and at London's Abbey Road Studios around the same time as this year's Wall of Eyes. Like that earlier album, it was produced by Sam Petts-Davies and features strings from the London Contemporary Orchestra.

Cutouts is available to pre-order here.
