You know, the greatest films of all time were never made — but Taylor Swift has decided to take Sunday matinee matters into her own hands with a concert movie of her record-shattering Eras Tour.
If you were among the many unable to even secure a presale code, let alone afford tickets to when the pop star finally brings the tour to Toronto for six nights in November 2024, here's the next best thing: the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour concert film hits theatres across North America on October 13 (because of course).
Directed by Sam Wrench, the two-hour, 45-minute movie follows a slew of other films — concert and otherwise — spotlighting Swift, as well as her own directorial debut with the "All Too Well" short film in 2021.
"The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I'm overjoyed to tell you that it'll be coming to the big screen soon," she wrote on Instagram, sharing the trailer, which you can watch below. "1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk)."
Tickets are available via Cineplex. Eras attire and friendship bracelets are obviously encouraged.
