Sum 41 have been teasing their new — and final — album, which sees the band return to their pop-punk roots, for at least 18 months now; it's a full toddler of anticipation-building at this point. Back in September, they released its first single, "Landmines," and the following month, frontman Deryck Whibley shared that the band were hoping to release the full double record in early 2024.
The singer-songwriter's hopes will come to fruition: Heaven :x: Hell is set to be released on March 15 through Rise Records. It's 20 tracks long, and is split into two halves; you can check out the full tracklist below. It's available to pre-order here.
Whibley said in a statement, "Once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, 'This is the record I'd like to go out on.' We've made a double album of pop-punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pave this lane for ourselves, but we did, and it's unique to us."
Each of the album's two "sides" is said to have a different sound. The Heaven side is what Whibley has described as "early Sum 41 pop-punk," while Hell is "newer, heavier Sum 41."
