Sum 41 have gotten their very own street in their hometown of Ajax, ON.
The official Instagram account of the GTA town shared a photo on Thursday (January 23), revealing that Falby Court has been temporarily renamed Sum 41 Way while the band wrap up their farewell tour.
The sign will remain in place until March 30, when the band are to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the JUNO Awards and play what is scheduled to be their last-ever performance.
Falby Court is the same street where the members of Sum 41 went to high school. The announcement notes, "This temporary renaming helps recognize the contributions of Sum 41 to the local, national and international music scene and is where the band first met at the former Exeter High School (now Bolton C. Falby Public School) on Falby Court in 1996."
The members of Sum 41 weren't on hand for the unveiling of the street sight, but some of their family members were there.
