Amid their North American trek supporting Underoath, a member of Spiritbox's touring party has tested positive for COVID-19.

The news comes in a statement posted to the band's Facebook page last night (March 7), reading:

Due to a positive case in the Spirtbox touring party we will be following the CDC recommended guidelines and taking the next few days off to isolate and recover. We hope to resume the tour as soon as possible. We are so sorry to the fans but we do appreciate your understanding.

"We will keep everyone posted, we hope to be back by Friday or Sat but all depends on how everyone is feeling by then," they added in the comments section.

The Victoria, BC-based metalcore outfit were scheduled to hit Toronto's History this Friday, March 11. It remains to be seen whether they will make the performance, but tonight's show in Chicago and the one to follow in tomorrow (March 8) in Detroit seem effectively off the table.
