Back in August, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak said that their highly anticipated debut as the recently-formed Silk Sonic — An Evening with Silk Sonic — would be dropping sometime in January 2022, after already being pushed back once to this fall.
Well, if you've been starved for their particular brand of velvety throwback funk-pop, some good news arrives today — An Evening with Silk Sonic has now been pushed forward, and will be arriving November 12.
The album will feature special guest Bootsy Collins, and includes previously-shared singles "Leave the Door Open," "Skate," and "Silk Sonic Intro," though there's no official tracklist yet.
Mars' most recent album was 2016's 24K Magic, while .Paak last released Ventura in 2019.
