Randy Bachman has announced the postponement of a spring solo tour due to "a series of health challenges."

"The past six months have been the hardest of my entire life," he wrote in a statement shared via his website. "I have been struck by a series of health challenges. In my heart, soul and mind, I feel fantastic, but physically, I realize I can't perform at this time."

Bachman's affected dates were to take place this April and May, and can be found via his website. He noted in the statement that tickets for the postponed shows will be honoured at rescheduled dates (which have yet to be announced), while refunds are also available.

He clarified in the statement that his upcoming Together Again tour with Burton Cummings — initially announced back in 2020 — will go ahead as planned this summer.

Bachman's affected itinerary can be found via his website, while currently scheduled dates for the Together Again tour alongside his old Guess Who bandmate can be found below.

On Twitter, Bachman added, "I'm really touched by the outpouring of kindness in response to my post. I have the best fans in the world. Thank you so much. A lifetime on the road is hard on a body. After some rest and repair, I'll be back at it this summer."
