Radiohead Side-Project the Smile Have Reportedly Finished an Album

Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood's latest work is "not a rock record," says producer Nigel Godrich

Radiohead haven't released a new album since 2016's A Moon Shaped Pool, but Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood's side-project the Smile apparently have a new album in the can.

The news comes via longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, who told The Coda Collection that the Smile have finished their album. He said it's "not a rock record." Rather, it's "an interesting juxtaposition of things, but it does make sense. It will make sense."
