Radiohead haven't released a new album since 2016's A Moon Shaped Pool, but Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood's side-project the Smile apparently have a new album in the can.
The news comes via longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, who told The Coda Collection that the Smile have finished their album. He said it's "not a rock record." Rather, it's "an interesting juxtaposition of things, but it does make sense. It will make sense."
The Smile also features drummer Tom Skinner of Sons of Kemet. The group made their debut at a Glastonbury livestream, and their setlist included eight original songs. At the time, they shared full performance videos of "Thin Thing." Check that out below.
