Saddle up, folks: the masked menace Orville Peck is back with news of his heavily-anticipated sophomore album in the form of a Motive-directed trailer.

Due April 8 via Columbia, Bronco follows Peck's 2019 debut Pony, as well as 2020's Show Pony EP. Chapter 1 of the album reportedly arrives this Friday (February 11), in the form of what we can only assume is a new song? Maybe more?

Any and all of which are potentially teased in the dynamic visuals of the highly-stylized album trailer, where we see the artist performing in a number of different locales including (but not limited to) a honky-tonk bar and a children's birthday party. He also wears multiple Western shirts with the album title emblazoned on the back, aesthetically cementing the dawn of this new era.

Last year, the homegrown heartthrob turned Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" into a country anthem for Pride Month — one of the 15 tracks that proved 2021 as the year of the cover song.
