Not to be confused with Caribou's landmark 2014 album, Montreal-based producer and singer-songwriter Marcus Paquin has just announced plans for his debut solo LP, Our Love. It will arrive courtesy of Birthday Cake Records on November 25.

Known for his work on albums from the National, Local Natives, the Weather Station, Julia Jacklin, Begonia, Sarah Harmer and more, the artist's collaborative spirit continues with Our Love, which sees contributions from friend and former bandmate, Liam O'Neill of Suuns. Marcus is otherwise credited for the album's arrangements, instrumentation, production, mixing and writing.

"The catharsis that came of writing the songs on this album helped me process the pain of my separation from my partner of 18 years and recognize the beauty and the healing power of my own self-love," Paquin said of the record in a statement.

"En route to accepting my new path," he continued, "I saw clearly that love is everywhere and that we need only extend an open hand to receive it and an open heart to give it. Our Love is an exploration of my relationship with love and an ode to love in its many forms."

Today, Paquin shares lead single "The Way Forward," which speaks to his "decision to let go, find compassion and regain a love of life and self," after years of personal struggle.
