Drummer/producer Riggins and Madlib have revived their Jahari Masamba Unit for a long-awaited debut album titled Pardon My French, due to arrive November 27.
The pair have made music under the moniker sporadically in past years, appearing on Madlib's 2010 album High Jazz and his expansive 2012 compilation release Madlib Medicine Show: The Brick. The 13-track effort, on which Riggins plays drums and Madlib handles all other instruments, can be previewed with "Les Jardins Esméraldins (Pour Caillard)" below.
News of an album with Four Tet comes from the English producer himself, who revealed the team-up during a recent YouTube stream. Joining viewers in the live chat, he wrote, "I've made an album with Madlib...got other new stuff coming too."
