New Zealand-born pop sensation Lorde has had a pretty good year for someone who's just turning 18 on Friday (November 7), and the birthday girl is celebrating by sharing the new clip for "Yellow Flicker Beat."
The tune comes from the soundtrack to the upcoming Hunger Games film Mockingjay Part 1, which Lorde actually curated herself. The clip opens in a neon-lit motel room, but as it progresses, we see Lorde delivering the song from an array of eerie locales. Deserted swimming pools, foggy roads in the middle of nowhere and a fancy party all serve as sets in the clip.
Mockingjay Part 1 hits theatres on November 21 and the soundtrack will be available on November 18 via Republic Records. Check out the clip for "Yellow Flicker Beat" below.
