Ahead of an anniversary milestone for their sophomore album Meteora, Linkin Park have revealed a previously unheard song from the album's recording sessions will see release to mark the occasion.

Arriving on Friday (February 10), the unearthed "Lost" is "a new, never-before-heard song from the Meteora archives" featuring vocals from the band's late frontman Chester Bennington.

A snippet of the soon-to-be-released track, which you can hear below, features Bennington singing, "'Cause when I'm alone / I'm lost in these memories / Living behind my illusion."

Released on March 25, 2003, Meteora debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and scored Linkin Park hits with "Somewhere I Belong," "Breaking the Habit," and "Numb." The album has sold 16 million copies worldwide.

In 2020, Linkin Park treated vaunted debut Hybrid Theory to a massive expanded anniversary reissue featuring previously unreleased material, and with news of "Lost" arriving, we imagine Meteora will soon receive a similar treatment.

Linkin Park has been on hiatus since Bennington's death in 2017. Today, the band also announced the launch of their own Discord server.
