Today marks the release of Les Deuxluxes' sophomore album Lighter Fluid, and to celebrate the occasion, the Montreal-based duo have rolled out a video for the effort's title track.
Following their video for "Everything of Beauty," the clip for "Lighter Fluid" finds Anna Frances Meyer and Étienne Barry teaming up with director Ariel Poupart, who had previously helmed videos for "Tobacco Vanilla" and "My Babe & Me."
This time around, Poupart's visuals draw inspiration from 60s art films and early music videos of the era, with a glowing green font and a liquid light backdrop setting a colourful stage for the duo's twin guitar attack.
Lighter Fluid is out now through Bonsound, and follows Les Deuxluxes's 2016 debut Springtime Devil. The duo begin a Quebec tour behind the record tonight in Sherbrooke, and you can find their present Canadian itinerary below.
Lighter Fluid is available to stream here, and can be purchased here.
