Ahead of releasing their sophomore album Lighter Fluid next month, Les Deuluxes have shared a video for the album's first single "Everything of Beauty."
Directed by JF Galipeau, the clip finds the Montreal-based duo performing in scenic, wide-open spaces of Quebec's Eastern Townships, enhanced by the use of manually-controlled prism and kaleidoscope lenses. The band's surroundings work in contrast with their lyrics concerning our uncertain environmental future.
Of the video shoot last November, the duo recalled, "We saw autumn pass to winter in the blink of an eye, taking us from fields of green and fall golds, warm sunsets and blue skies, to full-on deep snowfall, covering everything in sight in sparkling white."
Lighter Fluid is set to arrive February 28 through Bonsound, and follows Les Deuxluxes's 2016 debut Springtime Devil. The album is now available for pre-order.
