Instead of releasing albums, Grimes now prefers to spend her days posting philosophical musings on Twitter, and here's her latest: she's "finally getting into Christianity" as a way to quit vaping.
This past Friday (December 27), she shared a quote about making choices to live in harmony with God, adding that Christianity is "the only way" she can quit vaping.
She noted that she isn't taking Christianity's account of creation at face value, clarifying that she is a "general deist/ feel like god is physics/ math / sees itself thru our eyes kinda vibe in terms of what I 'actually think.'"
Grimes wrote that the experience "has rly been sending me into a philosophical tailspin tho cuz I have never ever ever had my mind even remotely accessible to religion like I distinctly was extremely doubtful abt it in like grade 1 before I could even be introduced to the concept of doubting it."
In a reply to a commenter, she noted that she is "still doing research before I fully download the new operating system" because "I need to work out or give myself an explanation for outbthr [sic] strange bits otherwise ill go mad."
