After a poorly received headline performance at Coachella last weekend, Frank Ocean has dropped out of the festival's second weekend.
Ocean apparently suffered a leg injury prior to the first weekend, and is dropping out of the second weekend on the advice of his doctor. He reportedly has two fractures and a sprain in his left leg. This seems to have been why he scrapped the original skating rink plan at the last minute.
"There is some beauty in chaos," Ocean said in a statement. "It isn't what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I'll see you soon."
Reports suggest that Ocean will be replaced as a headliner by blink-182 — who reunited as a last-minute addition to the lineup on the first weekend — although this hasn't been confirmed through any official channels. Ocean, meanwhile, has hinted that he doesn't not have a new album on the way.
