Cryptic messages and, admittedly, some grasping at straws have raised — and eventually dashed — fans' hopes of new Ocean music for years now. This time, he's shared a minute-long snippet to tease the untitled new track.
Fans have good reason to be excited about the snippet, which sounds like vintage Ocean à la Channel Orange.
The only thing that remains to be seen is whether or not Ocean will actually feel compelled to release the song, or whether he'll keep it in the vault forever, never to be heard again. On the other hand, it could be part of the mysterious album that he doesn't not have in the works.
