The Dawson City Music Festival is returning to Yukon this year, bringing with it a stacked slate of Canadian artists, from local up-and-comers to seasoned industry veterans.

Tickets for the fest taking place from July 19 to 21 are on sale now. As performances approach, check out our five must-see acts at the 2024 edition of the Dawson City Music Festival.

Hän Singers
You can't go to Dawson City and miss a performance by the Hän Singers. The intergenerational family folk band are stalwarts in the region, regularly performing their traditional singing and drumming set at local community centres as well as previous editions of the Dawson City Music Festival.

Abigail Lapell
With her sixth LP, Anniversary, en route and a Hillside Inside performance already under her belt this year, Toronto folk pop singer Abigail Lapell is warmed up and ready to hypnotize attendees with her delicate voice and soothing melodies.

OMBIIGIZI
With both Status/Non-Status and Zoon taking the stage in Dawson City, it only makes sense that their brainchild collaboration known as OMBIIGIZI would also perform. The duo haven't released a project since their 2022 debut Sewn Back Together, but the Polaris Music Prize-shortlisted album holds up as a must-watch performance.

U.S. Girls
Toronto-based pop outfit the U.S. Girls will make their return to the festival circuit in Dawson City after highlighting the likes of the Hillside and Rifflandia last summer. With the electrifying Meg Remy at the helm, their peers picked them as a can't-miss act of the 2023 festival season. This year is no exception.

Tia Wood
Saddle Lake, AB-based singer-songwriter Tia Wood has enjoyed immense popularity on social media since she started making Indigenous music and fashion content in 2020. Now, she's ready to take the leap from screen to stage and introduce her big, soulful vocals to a brand new audience.
