Falcon Jane's Sara May is certainly in her country era. After teasing her latest atmospheric journey with "Dirty Dog" last year, she remains on that trajectory with "I Own the Road."
It's a pensive track upheld by a guitar lick that's equal parts catchy and warmly melancholic. All of its other elements — drums, pedal steel, light synths — delicately act as support, letting the guitars do the work. Listen to it below.
