Drake's much-anticipated album Views from the 6 has long been slated for an April arrival, but the Toronto star had neglected to specify an exact release date — until now, that is. He has now revealed that the album will be out on April 29.
Drizzy announced the big news on his Beats 1 show OVO Sound Radio. The album will apparently be an Apple Music exclusive, which makes it something of a response to Kanye West's Tidal exclusive The Life of Pablo.
Drake also played an updated version of his song "Pop Style" during the show.
This album follows last year's for-pay mixtapes What a Time to Be Alive (a collaboration with Future) and If You're Reading This It's Too Late. Drake has released several new songs as of late, but the new album's tracklist still hasn't been revealed, so we can't confirm which of these cuts will appear.
As we begin the final countdown to Views from the 6, be sure to read our comprehensive Timeline feature on Drake.
