Montreal indie rock unit CTZNSHP released their latest LP All Things to the Sea earlier this year, and before they take the new tunes back out on the road for a couple of live dates, Exclaim! has got the premiere of their new video for "You Needed to Know."
The clip was filmed on a Super 8 camera by the band's director friend Kansas Bowling and aims the lens at the people of Los Angeles' people and the city's scenic surroundings.
"There's something a bit fake and shallow about it that most people find mesmerizing and comforting at the same time. A bit like entertainment in a way," the band's Jesse LeGallais explained in a statement. "So I guess the video is about nostalgia, repetition and aging, which we thought worked well with this song."
