Continuing to roll out videos behind her debut EP HOOD AVANT-GARDE, Charmaine has now shared accompanying visuals for "DOUBLE DUTCH."
Teaming up once more with director Spencer Edwards, the "DOUBLE DUTCH" video opens with Charmaine and co. wrapping a music video shoot, only for an elaborate portrait to catch her eye.
As the choreographed clip unfolds, it appears that the artist's visions of herself as a musical monarch are much more real than they first appear.
"I had such a blast but that's normal for us, it's always a vibe on set!" Charmaine shared of the shoot. "I want [fans] to understand that the only competition they have in life is themselves and you should always do your best to outdo yourself."
Edwards had previously directed visuals for Charmaine's cover of Queen Latifah's "U.N.I.T.Y," shared as part of Warner Music Canada's inaugural Black Alliance cover series.
