The Toronto-based rapper is oozing confidence on her latest single

Toronto's Charmaine knows that being a baddie is a state of mind. Today, she's spreading that gospel with her new track "BBM (Bad Bitch Mentality)," which comes complete with a matching video directed by Jacqueline Ashton.

The song follows the Zimbabwe-born MC's debut EP HOOD AVANT-GARDE from earlier this year. Clearly, she shows no signs of slowing her roll — and making sure everybody knows it.

In a statement, the artist said of the single: "'BBM' is for all my beautiful, strong, confident women — those who know how to get what they want and never settle for less. I want to showcase that women can be cute and polite but also cocky; it's okay to big yourself up."

And that she does, going so far as to reference DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win" (for obvious reasons). Nailing choreography by Mark Samuels and Wayne Samuels, Charmaine is joined by dancers Jordanaé Marie and Aryanna Silvera to physicalize her flexing flow in the blacklit video clip.

Let Charmaine teach you her strategy: watch the video for "BBM (Bad Bitch Mentality)" below.

Charmaine's last video gave EP cut "DOUBLE DUTCH" the royal treatment.
