Winnipeg-born songwriting great Chantal Kreviazuk has announced the sale of her expansive catalogue to Anthem Entertainment.

In addition to being a household name for her own recordings since the release of her revered 1997 debut album, Under These Rocks and Stones, Kreviazuk has also penned a number of international hits for artists like Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Drake, Gwen Stefani, Shakira, Carrie Underwood and Avril Lavigne. "Feel This Moment," recorded by Pitbull and Christina Aguilera, was certified 4x Platinum in both Canada and the US.

“Chantal Kreviazuk is one of the most prolific and successful Canadian songwriters recognized today on the international stage,” Anthem Entertainment CEO Jason Klein said in a statement. “Her extraordinary songs have not only achieved outstanding commercial success but have meaningfully influenced popular culture with a significant impact across music, film, and philanthropy, and are a prized addition to our catalogue. We look forward to a great partnership with Chantal.”

Kreviazuk added, “I am thrilled to begin a new and exciting partnership with Jason and the team at Anthem Entertainment, to represent songs that I have been writing throughout my whole life and career. Our shared passion and enthusiasm for the work I value so dearly was made clear from our very first conversation and I am grateful to begin this new chapter together.”

The singer-songwriter released her latest album, Get to You, in 2020 — a year after the debut of the documentary about her relationship with Our Lady Peace's Raine Maida, I'm Going to Break Your Heart.
