Following a very prolific 2021 — we're talking four entire albums last year — Arca has collected her entire KICK series for a massive box set, due May 20 via XL Recordings.
The 5-LP set will comprise 2020's KiCk i, as well as all four of 2021's LPs: KICK ii, KicK iii, kick iiii and kiCK iiiii.
In addition to all of the above, the artist has also shared an ancillary track, "Cayó," which originally premiered on her Twitch channel way back in 2020. Produced by Tim Hecker, the track arrives alongside a music video directed by Albert Moya.
"It's about exploring self states, non-binary modes of relating of that which is 'other,' creating new intersectional ways of mediating identity through exploring sensuality and heightened communion with the sensual embodiment of self," Arca said of the track in a statement.
