Wes Anderson's 'The French Dispatch' Delayed Due to COVID-19

The hugely anticipated film now won't arrive until this fall

Adding to an increasingly long list of COVID-19 cancellations, the original release date for Wes Anderson's new film The French Dispatch has just been called off.

While the hugely anticipated film was due out on July 24, Searchlight Pictures will now release the movie on October 16.

The film stars an huge list of notable actors, including Bill MurrayOwen WilsonAdrien Brody, Benicio Del Toro, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormandTimothée Chalamet, Jeffrey Wright, Stephen Park, Lyna Khoudri, Mathieu Amalric, Liev Schreiber, Elisabeth Moss, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Lois Smith, Saoirse Ronan, Christoph Waltz, Cecile De France, Guillaume Gallienne, Jason Schwartzman, Tony Revolori, Rupert Friend, Henry Winkler, Bob Balaban, Hippolyte Girardot and Anjelica Huston.
