The long-awaited Vince Gilligan-directed Breaking Bad movie — which we already know will see Aaron Paul reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman — finally has a new official trailer starring Paul himself. The movie is slated to arrive simultaneously on Netflix and in theatres on October 11. Until then, you can watch the short trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie down below.
The trailer shows Jesse, frantically smoking cigarettes in a car, seemingly distressed about a radio news report describing a crime scene that paints a picture not unlike the finale of Breaking Bad's fifth season.
If you have been paying attention, Paul's appearance as Jesse Pinkman will come as no surprise. The official movie synopsis is pretty clear that the movie will directly follow Paul's character after the events of the series finale. It reads, "In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future."
The new trailer is not the first we've seen since the we began to hear the first whispers of the new film last year. Netflix released a Jesse Pinkman supercut just a few weeks ago, and last month we got our first taste of the new film with a teaser starring Charles Baker, reprising his role as Skinny Pete.
It's still unclear whether the series' star Bryan Cranston will make an appearance in the film.
For now, watch the new El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie below.
