The Internet Is Torching the 'Sonic the Hedgehog' Trailer

After getting a complete look at the CGI Sonic the Hedgehog last month, the first trailer for the Jeff Fowler-directed feature has now arrived. As expected, the jokes have already begun to fly.

The trailer, which can be found below, finds James Marsden befriending the speedy blue hero while avoiding attacks from Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey), all set to Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise."

Viewers have taken to social media to dunk on everything from the trailer's soundtrack choice to Sonic's unusually human-like teeth, not to mention animation quality, though Carrey's Robotnik has earned some early praise.
