Her dominance continues today with a guest spot (alongside Nicki Minaj) on "Barbie World (with Aqua)," a new song from the soundtrack to Greta Gerwig's much-anticipated Barbie.
The single is a two-minute confection that finds Minaj peelin' out in her pink Ferrari and telling her hairstylist to "pull the Bob Dylan out." Ice Spice proclaims that she's "washin' these bitches, I'm rubbin' the stain out," and the two come together for the chorus — the whole thing is, obviously, built on a sample of Aqua's "Barbie Girl."
The video is full of pink and plastic and features the duo on jetskis in the sky, plus Minaj in the Barbie teaser trailer's 2001: A Space Odyssey gag. It's kinda wild that it took Nicki Minaj this long to release a song that samples "Barbie Girl," but if you're gonna do it, do it big (or small, this thing is short as hell).
"Barbie World (with Aqua)" is Minaj and Ice Spice's second collaboration after Nicki jumped on a remix of Ice Spice's "Princess Diana."
