Finn Wolfhard — actor, musician, prophet? It sounds like the Stranger Things star can safely expand his resumé after correctly predicting the plot of the Duffer Brothers' forthcoming spinoff.

Although it was teased by the creators last summer, the future spinoff of the present Netflix hit hasn't even been written yet. Five seasons deep into the acclaimed series, Wolfhard shocked the Duffer Brothers with the strength of their apparent mind-meld and shared vision for the future of the show.

The actor appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, where he casually admitted that he is one of the only three people in the world who know what the spinoff is about, purely by accident.

"We were on set filming Stranger Things 4 and we were all talking about if there's going to be — like joking, 'Oh they're all going to have us back in 20 years and we're all going to [be] fat and old,' that kind of thing," Wolfhard told host Jimmy Fallon.

He continued, "And then I was like, 'But if you guys are actually going to do a spinoff, it should be this.' And then I said it and the Duffers looked at each other and looked at me and they were like, 'Could we talk to you for a second?' And then they pulled me off and they were like, 'That is the idea. Who told you?' and I was like, 'No one,' and they were like, 'What do you mean? You just came up with it?' and I was like, 'Well, no, I just thought that that would be a cool way to expand.' It was really funny and they were like 'Okay, well… don't tell anyone.'"

The Duffer Brothers previously revealed that the spinoff was going to be "1,000 percent different" from the original show, with Matt saying on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, "I've read these rumours that there's gonna be an Eleven spin-off. That there's gonna be a Steve and Dustin spinoff or that it's another number — that's not interesting to me, because we've done all that. We've spent I don't know how many hours exploring all of that."

In an email to Vanity Fair, the creators co-signed Wolfhard's prophecy, writing:

We do have an idea for a spin-off that we're super excited about... but we haven't told anyone the idea yet, much less written it. We think everyone — including Netflix — will be surprised when they hear the concept, because it's very, very different. But somehow Finn Wolfhard — who is one crazy smart kid — correctly guessed what it was going to be about. But aside from Finn, no one else knows!

Shrouded in mystery, those brothers. The same can be said for Stranger Things' upcoming fifth and final season, which we have next to no information about except that the Duffers' plans for it reportedly made Netflix executives cry during the pitch meeting
