Barack Obama Confirms the Existence of UFOs on 'Corden'

We're calling them UAPs now, apparently

Tom DeLonge is probably feeling pretty good about himself this week. What with the release of Angels & Airwaves' horny new single "Euphoria," of course, but also because now everyone knows UFOs are pretty much real. Today, he and other believers are getting an extra dose of validation — straight from the mouth of former U.S. president Barack Obama.

In case you missed it, 60 Minutes did a series of interviews with military UFO witnesses earlier this week, confirming that there are unidentified space crafts doing otherworldly manoeuvres around Earth on a fairly regular basis. It's so far unclear what or who are operating these crafts — but they're definitely here.

Obama appeared on the latest episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden and confirmed — when prompted by comedian/bandleader Reggie Watts, of all people — that those stories are true. There's even footage to prove it.

"There's footage and records of objects in the skies that we don't know exactly what they are, we can't explain how they moved their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern," the ex-president said. "I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is."

For the record, "UFOs," as we commonly known them, got a PR facelift recently — we're calling them unidentified aerial phenomena or "UAPs" for short now, for some reason. And while U.S. government officials and agencies are being more transparent about the mysterious ships now, what is still unconfirmed (or perhaps classified) is whether these are actually "dem aliens," as Watts refers to them.

"When it comes to aliens, there's some things I just can't tell you on air," Obama added.
