Tom DeLonge's New Angels & Airwaves Song Is a Weirdly Horny Piece of Prog Rock

Get a load of "Euphoria" for yourself

Always up to something, Tom DeLonge's latest hyper-focus seems to be set on his rock band Angels & Airwaves, who have been teasing a new album for years. We've seen and heard the songs "Kiss & Tell," "Rebel Girl" and "All That's Left Is Love," and today he's delivered the goods with yet another new tune.

There are times where Angels & Airwaves songs feel like they'd be a great introduction to the band for people who only like Tom in Blink-182. This is very much not one of those times. "Euphoria" shares a hell of a lot more DNA with Rush than a band like NOFX, and unless you've been raised on atonal nü prog, you're probably going to hate it.

Not helping matters is the music video, which sees Tom rock out on a soundstage with his band (whose drummer has a strangely prominent Q on his kick drum...) intercut with Lifetime movie calibre footage of a lingerie model who kills a guy in a cabin.

The whole thing is a complete mess. And with Tom DeLonge, we wouldn't have it any other way.
