Owen Wilson Got His Rolling Stones Lifetime Pass Revoked Less Than 24 Hours After Receiving It

The dos and don'ts of backstage concert passes with Professor Wilson

It turns out that you shouldn't take "all-access" too literally when it comes to concert passes. Owen Wilson learned that the hard way in his first (and last) use of a special lifetime pass given to him by the Rolling Stones before they played a show in Argentina.

Wilson revealed that he was especially excited to get the pass from the Stones as they were the first band he'd ever seen live, before detailing his "gnarly experience" in his distinct Texan twang on The Late Late Show with James Corden

"That night at the concert, I'm kind of testing it out like, 'I'm gonna walk over here and see if anybody stops me,' and no one would stop me any place, and I ended up right at this place where I could look over and see Mick Jagger on the stage right there," he recalled. "I'm kind of watching and then all of a sudden he bolts during 'Jumping Jack Flash' and comes running down... and it turns out where I was was kind of part of the stage."

The actor says he froze in place and did his best to stay out of the way before someone working the show pulled him back off stage. The Stones frontman's security team promptly came to his hotel room to take back the "lifetime" pass the next morning.
