Adam Driver has officially shut down hope that his fan-favourite character, Kylo Ren, who appeared in the Star Wars sequels from 2015 to 2019, will return to the franchise following his demise in 2019's The Rise of Skywalker.
On a Boxing Day episode of Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes's SmartLess podcast, Driver said that, although there's more Star Wars content in the works, none of it involves him.
"They're doing stuff, yeah, but not with me ... I'm not doing any more," he said.
At the end of the franchise's most recent film, Driver's Ren sacrifices himself for the Resistance despite primarily playing an antagonist in the heavily criticized sequel trilogy.
As far as the "stuff" that's yet to come in the Star Wars universe, Disney+ has announced a slew of content slated for 2024, including a Skeleton Crew series starring Jude Law and an Acolyte series via Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland.
