In his latest bit of bridge-building with UK rap, Drake has joined London's Central Cee for a new freestyle with On the Radar Radio.
Recorded while in New York as part of his North American tour with 21 Savage, Drake's half of the freestyle finds him shouting out the pride of Stratford, ON, working in a Dido reference, and likening himself — and the haters he faces — to Jesus and Julius Caesar: "We know some demon guys with jealous and evil eyes / You know that's how Jesus died, you know that's how Julius Caesar died / I bet they were decent guys, I swear they remind me of me sometimes."
Drake's On the Radar appearance comes on the heels of him publishing a book of poetry, which he noted would be accompanied by a new album titled For All the Dogs.
In June, Central Cee teamed with Dave for the collaborative EP Split Decision.
