Sufjan Stevens is pretty much always in the giving spirit. After delivering one of this year's best albums in the emotionally arresting Javelin, he's now offering up a festive Yule log video to warm our TVs this holiday season.
Having written and recorded over 100 holiday songs over his decades-long career, the singer-songwriter is now offering up a seasonally appropriate visual (filmed and edited by Brian Paccione) with which to bombard your family's holiday gatherings this December (or all year long — we don't judge).
Songs culled from Songs for Christmas (2006) and Silver & Gold (2012) will soundtrack the five-hour Yule log video dropping tomorrow (December 1) at 11 a.m. ET.
While we wait for Sufjan Claus to come down YouTube's chimney to deliver presents to all the good girls, gays and theys, watch a preview of the festive log below.
