R&B singer Trey Songz reportedly surrendered himself to the LAPD earlier today (March 19) on charges of felony domestic violence.
According to TMZ, Songz turned himself in with the assistance of his attorney Shawn Holley. He was booked at 6 a.m. local time, then released at 8 a.m. after posting a $50,000 bond.
The performer was accused of brutally beating Andrea Buera at a Hollywood Hills party during the NBA All-Star weekend in Los Angeles last month. According to Buera, Songz was upset that she was talking to another man. Songz claims there are witnesses who can refute the claims.
Buera is being represented by Lisa Bloom, daughter of famed feminist lawyer Gloria Allred and a famous feminist lawyer in her own right.
